All pieces are falling in the right places..
Last weekend we got the body back from “De Carrossier” in Turnhout. Marc and Gert professionally put the roof back on the car.
Most M3 bodies have a sunroof. We did not like that and from a point of weight balance this was not ideal. We removed the roof and found a donor plate from another E30 model. New M3 roofs are no longer available at the BMW dealer.
We did not try/dare to install the new roof plate and asked “De Carrossier” to do this for us.
The result looks like it came out of the BMW factory this way…
