We did not make an undeformable connection between the 2 struts but we choose a fairly thin CrMo4 tube.
We prefer to bend this strut brace instead of the whole car in case of a crash..
The strut itself has also been strenghtened by welding a vertical reinforcement pipe against it. This way a traingle is formed with the other body parts.
