The CAM sensor …

This action point was shifted in time maybe 100 times. Because the car was in the North of the Netherlands Dries (Bosch Tuning) fixed this quickly.
We know we won’t gain anything in power here but we want to inject fuel sequentially to safe a bit on fuel consumption.

The sump protection …

One of the tasks when in the Netherlands was the construction of the sump protection.
Since carbon is ridiculous expensive, we selected a decent 6mm ALU plate. Because we are not equipped to bend and cut such material it was a job for Ger from HSP.

We know Ger delivers always perfect work and he is always concerned about the looks too.
Some pictures, judge by yourself.

Writing software can be boring …

At least it looks like if you ask Cosmo one of our incredible lovely chats in the R-Box team.
When the car was in the Netherlands it was the ideal time to continue writing code.
So we made some important progress on this, although Cosmo did not look very impressed :-)

Ready in 3 steps …

To encourage our self a bit we have split up the ready phase in 3 steps.
Looking to the pictures I could say the external body trim is almost done.
It took again the full Saturday but it starts to look as a car.

Some missing boxes …

Some electronics still needed to be done for the refuelling. We wanted to have a audio visual indication that the tank is 100% full.
As usual when we don’t design a custom PCB we use a breadboard and pot it in epoxy to be resistant for vibrations, humidity, dirt, ….

Because we had some additional potting tasks, we sealed also some isolation “boxes”. We use this to have a galvanic isolation between 12V and our logic signals.

Now wait for 24 hours and …. ready to install.
